McPherson has gone 8-2 against Circle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bullpups will challenge the Thunderbirds at 4:00 p.m. McPherson will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
McPherson barely beat Andale/Garden Plain the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bullpups blew past the Indians 23-0 on Monday. Considering the Bullpups have won ten contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Cade Strathman and Cowen Huggard were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Strathman tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Huggard tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Strathman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, Strathman scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances, while Huggard scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Circle came up short against Andover on Thursday, falling 13-4.
Circle has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for McPherson, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0.
Circle's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: McPherson hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .443. It's a different story for Circle, though, as they've only averaged .228. Will they be able to contain McPherson's hitters?
McPherson couldn't quite get it done against Circle in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 as they fell 4-0. Can the Bullpups avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
