Baseball Recap: North Mason's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Mason had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sequim Wolves, sneaking past 4-2. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Pauli Calafiore was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over 6.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Danner Jones, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

North Mason's record is now 4-1. As for Sequim, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

North Mason will have a chance to go back-to-back against Sequim: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
