There's no place like home for Palmer, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 66-42 margin over the Coronado Cougars on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Terrors in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won eight in a row.

It was another big night for J'Twane Mike, who went 8 for 12 to rack up 17 points. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ayden Yunker, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 15 points.

Coronado's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lyrik Smith, who posted eight points in addition to six assists and five boards, and Darien Unger, who put up nine points. Those six assists gave Smith a new career-high. Collin Wolf was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Coronado, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-18.

Coming up, Palmer will head out to face off against Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. As for Coronado, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-37 defeat against Falcon on the 8th.
