Volleyball Recap: Benjamin Franklin Comes Up Short

Benjamin Franklin came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Gilbert Christian Knights. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-14.

Benjamin Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Gilbert Christian, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Benjamin Franklin will challenge rival San Tan Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gilbert Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Northwest Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
