Soccer Recap: Tartan Comes Up Short

Tartan lost against Mahtomedi back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans came up short against the Zephyrs, falling 4-0. Tartan have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tartan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Mahtomedi, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tartan will welcome St. Thomas Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Thomas Academy's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Mahtomedi, they will square off against Blake at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
