Volleyball Recap: Buffalo Has No Trouble Against Braxton County

Buffalo not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Braxton County Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Bison have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Buffalo was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 25-5.

Buffalo found their leader in sophomore Claire Sunyog, who had 15 assists and three digs. Those 15 assists set a new season-high mark for Sunyog.

Buffalo was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Buffalo's victory bumped their record up to 9-16-2. As for Braxton County, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Buffalo will square off against Ripley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Braxton County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Richwood at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
