General McLane got themselves on the board against Harbor Creek on Friday, but Harbor Creek never followed suit. They blew past the Huskies 28-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

General McLane didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Charlie Bennett and Logan Squires. Bennett got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win got General McLane back to even at 1-1. As for Harbor Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

General McLane and Harbor Creek will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Lancers will take on rival Oil City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Harbor Creek is set to challenge their familiar foe North East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
