Recap: Colleyville Heritage Panthers vs. Ryan Raiders
It was a good run, but the Colleyville Heritage Panthers unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ryan. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Colleyville Heritage of the 56-48 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Colleyville Heritage lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Journee Hampton, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Hampton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Suliane Davis was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Colleyville Heritage's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-10. As for Ryan, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season.
Colleyville Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ryan also has no future games currently scheduled.
