Volleyball Recap: Saint Francis Catholic Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Countryside Christian last Tuesday, Saint Francis Catholic Academy came back down to earth. The Wolves came up short against The Rock Lions on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Wolves have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-11.

Saint Francis Catholic Academy's offense was headlined by Gianna Morali and Hailey Schoster, who picked up four kills apiece. Morali really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with five. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Saint Francis Catholic Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for The Rock, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Saint Francis Catholic Academy will face off against Williston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Rock, they will head out to challenge Oak Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
