Farmington proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eureka Hornets, sneaking past 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Farmers have posted since April 19th.
The team relied heavily on Lane Wheelwright, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. Ben Marvel was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.
