Basketball Recap: Indianapolis Arsenal Technical Takes a Loss

Indianapolis Arsenal Technical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 84-17 loss at the hands of the Purdue Polytechnic Techies. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 344th, while the Techies are ranked 137th).

Khalis Brown was Indianapolis Arsenal Technical's leading scorer, having posted five points. NATANYA EDWARDS held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.

Indianapolis Arsenal Technical's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Purdue Polytechnic, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indianapolis Arsenal Technical will venture away from home to square off against Southport at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Purdue Polytechnic, they will head out to face off against Guerin Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Purdue Polytechnic's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
