Softball Recap: Covenant Christian Warriors vs. South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Covenant Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies 14-13.
Ariannah Jones made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over eight innings while giving up six earned (and six unearned) runs off 16 hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Covenant Christian let Anabelle Davis and Moriah Armstrong run wild.
