Baseball Recap: Georgetown Day Takes a Loss

Georgetown Day lost against Flint Hill last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers lost 14-2 to the Flint Hill Huskies. The Mighty Hoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Georgetown Day now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Flint Hill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Georgetown Day will head out to take on Sidwell Friends at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Flint Hill, they are taking a road trip to face off against Collegiate at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Flint Hill will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
