Medway and Dover-Sherborn are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will face off against the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Medway is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Norwood hit Medway with a four-run first inning on Sunday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. Medway fell 5-2 to Norwood. The loss continues a trend for Medway in their meetings with Norwood: they've now lost six in a row.

Medway saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johnny Farrell, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Dover-Sherborn's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of Medfield by a score of 2-1.

Stephen Alphas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up seven Ks.

Medway's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Dover-Sherborn, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Medway beat Dover-Sherborn 8-5 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
