Basketball Game Preview: Cass Tech Technicians vs. King Crusaders

The Cass Tech Technicians will head out on the road to square off against the King Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cass Tech knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully King likes a good challenge.

Cass Tech came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Mumford an easy 84-64 win.

Meanwhile, King was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 41-40 to East Lansing.

Cass Tech's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2. As for King, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Cass Tech came up short against King when the teams last played back in February, falling 58-52. Can the Technicians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
