North Lenoir proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the First Flight Nighthawks 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Hawks as they're now sitting on 17 straight.

North Lenoir had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 12-25, 25-20, 25-22, 15-12.

North Lenoir's victory bumped their record up to 20-1. As for First Flight, they moved to 16-11 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-match winning streak.

North Lenoir didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Randleman on the 23rd. First Flight does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
