Preview: Howard Wildcats vs. William Penn Colonials
Howard has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will face off against the William Penn Colonials at 4:45 p.m. Howard will be strutting in after a win while William Penn will be coming in after a defeat.
On Saturday, Howard strolled past St. Georges Tech with points to spare, taking the game 66-50.
Meanwhile, William Penn pushed their score all the way to 67 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to St. Elizabeth on the road by a decisive 85-67 margin.
Howard's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for William Penn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Things could have been worse for Howard, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-39 loss to William Penn in their previous meeting back in March. Can Howard avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
