Softball Recap: Chester Takes a Loss

After flying high against Central last Thursday, Chester came back down to earth. The Cyclones came up short against the Strom Thurmond Rebels on Wednesday, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 last Wednesday.

Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Strom Thurmond, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Chester nor Strom Thurmond have any future games scheduled.
