Basketball Recap: Imagine Prep Gets the Win

If Dream City Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Imagine Prep, they should've done a better job of containing Jaylen Cassidy. The Imagine Prep Storm blew past Dream City Christian, posting a 65-28 victory thanks in part to Cassidy, who went 6 of 10 en route to 13 points along with seven boards and six assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.

Imagine Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Dream City Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Imagine Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-45 victory against South Pointe on the 4th. As for Dream City Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th.
