Football Recap: Taylor Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Taylor's offense. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roosevelt Bears on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Griffins of the 19-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Brayden Jevahirian was a one-man wrecking crew For Roosevelt. as he rushed for 88 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Roosevelt, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Taylor has already played their next match, a 16-8 victory against Edsel Ford on the 19th. As for Roosevelt, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-20 win against Anderson on the 19th.
