The Desert Vista Thunder will face off against the Skyline Coyotes at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Desert Vista got the win against Cibola by a conclusive 8-1. The Thunder have beaten the Raiders the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Raiders has come to flipping the script.

Desert Vista got a great performance from Kason Webb as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched.

Skyline pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Desert Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
