Volleyball Recap: Austin Black Bears vs. Daphne Trojans
Austin lost against Daphne back in August of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Austin Black Bears fell just short of the Daphne Trojans by a score of 2-1.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Austin sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-27, 15-12.
Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Daphne, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-7.
Austin will take on Indian Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Daphne, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Helena at 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
