Basketball Recap: Pacey Reading's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Van-Far over Bowling Green

Van-Far fought the good fight in their overtime game against Bowling Green on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bowling Green Bobcats by a score of 61-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Indians have suffered since January 19, 2024.

Van-Far lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Pacey Reading, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carson Huff, who posted 16 points.

Van-Far's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Bowling Green, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.
