Basketball Recap: Jefferson County North Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jefferson County North can now relate to. They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wabaunsee on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Jefferson County North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while Wabaunsee is ranked 150th).

Jefferson County North's loss dropped their record down to 3-16-1. As for Wabaunsee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6-1.

As of now, neither Jefferson County North nor Wabaunsee have any future games scheduled.
