Baseball Recap: Wissahickon Comes Up Short

Wissahickon came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials, falling 7-1. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colonials apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-4-2. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

While Wissahickon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
