Baseball Recap: East Clarendon Falls Short of Philip Simmons in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Clarendon can now relate to. They lost 11-1 to the Philip Simmons Iron Horses on Wednesday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Wolverines, who until this contest were averaging 3.88 runs allowed.

East Clarendon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenley Sullivan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

East Clarendon's defeat dropped their record down to 25-8. As for Philip Simmons, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-13 record this season.

As of now, neither East Clarendon nor Philip Simmons have any future games scheduled.
