Football Game Recap: Saranac Lake vs. Moriah

On Saturday, Moriah put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They took their match against Saranac Lake by a conclusive 47-21 score. That's another feather in the cap for Moriah, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Moriah's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 18 first-half points. Saranac Lake countered with 13 points, leaving the score at 18-13 going into the half. The offense for Moriah continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 29 points to put the game away. The victory bumped their record up to 3-2. The defeat dropped Saranac Lake's record to 1-4.

Next week Moriah take on AuSable Valley at 7:30 PM. Moriah are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while AuSable Valley are stumbling in off of five consecutive losses. As for Saranac Lake, they will face off against Beekmantown. Beekmantown are cruising in on a five-game winning streak.
