Othello faced Selah in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Huskies fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2. The Huskies' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Othello saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kal-El Ozuna, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Ozuna has hit this season.

Othello's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Selah, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Othello is set to face off against their familiar foe Toppenish at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Selah will take on rival Prosser at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
