Football Recap: Meadowbrook Comes Up Short

Meadowbrook lost against Philo back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colts were beaten by the Electrics 44-14. The game marked the Colts' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Although Meadowbrook took the loss, they still got scores from Blake Lappert and Jacob Burris.

This is the second loss in a row for Meadowbrook and nudges their season record down to 1-4. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 4-0 Crooksville (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 90% over those games). As for Philo, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Meadowbrook didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-14 win against John Glenn on the 26th. As for Philo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 36-12 victory against Crooksville on the 26th.
