It was a good run, but Niagara Falls unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chester Clippers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wolverines came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 72nd in New York, while the Clippers are ranked 201st in Pennsylvania).

Niagara Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Chester, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Niagara Falls won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lower Merion at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lower Merion will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Niagara Falls surely won't give up without a fight. Chester has already played their next contest (against Interboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
