Baseball Recap: North Buncombe Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

North Buncombe was the 10-0 winner over Madison when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. North Buncombe lost 15-5 to Madison on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Black Hawks have suffered against the Patriots since March 3, 2022.

North Buncombe saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grey Reedy, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

North Buncombe's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3. As for Madison, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Buncombe will square off against Asheville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison, they will take on Rosman at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Rosman has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.15 runs per game on average), something Madison will no doubt try to take advantage of.
