Clyde-Savannah took a 16-run defeat the last time they faced off against East Rochester, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Golden Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bombers 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Golden Eagles have posted since April 23rd.
Taylor Carnevale spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on 12 hits.
