Baseball Game Preview: Jordan Beetdiggers vs. Highland Rams

For the second straight game, Jordan will face off against Highland. Jordan will venture away from home to take on Highland at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jordan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Jordan got the win against Highland by a conclusive 12-2. The Beetdiggers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

MCKAY BRANDE looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, CJ SUMNER was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with five RBI and one double. KODY KEMP was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Jordan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .650. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Highland dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Jordan, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
