             Two dominant  signal callers in  Ella Joplin and  Jackie Jimenez are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Marana Tigers will welcome the Desert Vista Thunder  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Marana is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last seven games.
 Marana is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Arizona's top teams: Desert Vista, who was ranked 24th  in their home state at the time (Marana was ranked second). Marana strolled past Desert Vista with  points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game  24-6. 24 seems to be a good number for the Tigers as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  points in their previous game.
 Marana's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Joplin, who threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns.  Adrian Griffin was  Joplin's top target, picking up 90 receiving yards and a touchdown.

 Marana's win was  their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 12-1. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.6 points per game. As for Desert Vista, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 7-6.
