Riley King was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Mimi Shaw was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Alexis Ater was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Troy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Harrison didn't have quite enough to beat Talawanda on Wednesday and fell 4-3. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
CC Bischoff was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Khloe Legner, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Troy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Harrison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
