Basketball Game Preview: Eastern Ramblers vs. Ballou Knights

The Eastern Ramblers will take on the Ballou Knights in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Eastern's favor as the squad sits on 13 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Ballou has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Eastern is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Jackson-Reed 69-46 on Monday. The Ramblers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ballou took a blow against School Without Walls on Monday, falling 46-19.

Ballou's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Eastern, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Everything went Eastern's way against Ballou when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as Eastern made off with a 50-26 win. Does Eastern have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ballou turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
