Soccer Game Preview: Lower Merion vs. Bayard Rustin

The Lower Merion Aces will head out on the road to square off against the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lower Merion is headed into the contest having not lost since September 2 and will look to keep things rolling. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Haverford on Tuesday. Lower Merion haven't had any issues with Haverford recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Bayard Rustin's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Downingtown West. Given Bayard Rustin's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Downingtown West are ranked 130th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lower Merion's record is now 9-2-4. As for Bayard Rustin, their record now sits at 10-3.
