Soccer Game Preview: Davis vs. West Valley

The Davis Pirates will face off against the West Valley Rams at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Davis' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Davis fell victim to Sunnyside and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 4-0 to the Grizzlies. That's two games in a row now that Davis have lost by exactly four goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They never let Sunnyside get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for West Valley as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for West Valley, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
