On Thursday, Buckeye Local got the win against Catholic Central by a conclusive 14-4. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly ten runs.
Danika Bauknecht was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. Bauknecht was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Buckeye Local got a massive performance out of Addie Jones, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave Jones a new career-high in RBI (two). Jadyn Pleise was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
Buckeye Local kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Catholic Central only managed seven.
Meanwhile, Union Local came up short against Monroe Central on Thursday, falling 15-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Jets in their meetings with the Seminoles: they've now lost six in a row.
Khloe Gallagher made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Alli Kellaway, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Union Local's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Buckeye Local, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
