Baseball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial fell victim to Jordan and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 20-0 to the Jordan Panthers. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Apaches were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Centennial and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Jordan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will host Santa Monica at 3:15 p.m. on March 11th. As for Jordan, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Jordan Panthers duke it out with New Roads Jaguars at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Their pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so New Roads' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
