After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coronado, Cheyenne Mountain was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over The Vanguard School Coursers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red-Tailed Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 20-25, 25-14.

Aiden Eslinger paced Cheyenne Mountain's offense, picking up 14 kills. Eslinger got some help from Ari Martin and his 21 assists. Finally, Eslinger was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Cheyenne Mountain's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for The Vanguard School, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Cheyenne Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Niwot on the 5th. As for The Vanguard School, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Fountain Valley on the 5th.
