Fort Fairfield lost against Houlton back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Fort Fairfield Tigers took a 66-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houlton Shiretowners. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Fort Fairfield's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Houlton, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-8.

Fort Fairfield will welcome Madawaska at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Madawaska knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 matchups -- so hopefully Fort Fairfield likes a good challenge. Houlton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
