Lassiter is 6-1 against Woodstock since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses apiece.

Last Thursday, Lassiter came up short against Sprayberry and fell 3-1.

While Lassiter had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 20-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Woodstock didn't have quite enough to beat Creekview last Thursday and fell 3-2.

Lassiter's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Woodstock, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15.

Lassiter suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Woodstock in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
