Football Recap: Dunedin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 50 points the game before, Dunedin was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They were dealt a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 417th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 198th).

Dunedin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Pierce Adkins, Jeff Lowe, and Ethan Shipley, who each picked up one interception apiece. Another thorn in Palm Harbor University's side was Matthan Hill, who picked up a sack and made 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Palm Harbor University's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris Silvestro, who rushed for 83 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries. Ben Sathaporn was in the mix as well, providing the Hurricanes with two TDs.

Dunedin has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Palm Harbor University, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

As of now, neither Dunedin nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
