Soccer Recap: Pearce Takes a Loss

Pearce's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Dallas Jesuit Rangers by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 497th, while the Rangers are ranked 88th).

Pearce's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-4. As for Dallas Jesuit, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 4-1-1 record this season.

Pearce will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Irving at 7:15 p.m. Irving will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Pearce surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dallas Jesuit, they will venture away from home to face off against Lake Highlands at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Dallas Jesuit's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
