Itawamba Agricultural had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the West Point Green Wave as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Indians not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 6, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Itawamba Agricultural walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-10, 25-19.

West Point dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Itawamba Agricultural will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Smithville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Point, they will welcome Aberdeen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
