Soccer Recap: Shelton Comes Up Short

Shelton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the WF West Bearcats. That's two games in a row now that Shelton have lost by just one goal.

Shelton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for WF West, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-7-1 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shelton is set to take on their familiar foe Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, WF West will face off against rival Black Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
