Acalanes proved they can win big  on Tuesday (they won by three) and  on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the College Park Falcons  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Dons have posted  since September 6th.
 College Park lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Mina Dinh, who  had 16  digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having  posted 13 or more  digs the last three times she's  played.  Malaika Babb was another key player,  getting nine  assists and seven  digs.
Acalanes' victory  ended  a  three-match drought at home  and  bumped them up to 11-5. As for College Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
 Coming up, Acalanes will venture away from home to  take on Las Lomas  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Dons are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for College Park, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Campolindo at 6:30  p.m.  on  the 14th.
