Basketball Recap: Life Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Life Christian entered their tilt with Mid-Moore Christian on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Mid-Moore Christian Tornados with points to spare, taking the game 69-54. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Tornados back in December of 2024, they had to take a 71-48 defeat.

Despite the loss, Mid-Moore Christian still got an impressive performance from Noah Moore, who posted 14 points and six steals. Those six steals gave Moore a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caeson Moore, who put up nine points and six rebounds.

Life Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Mid-Moore Christian, they moved to 15-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Life Christian will head out to square off against Bowlegs at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Bowlegs is on a three-game streak of home wins, Life Christian a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Mid-Moore Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Stillwater S at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
