Basketball Game Preview: Las Vegas Wildcats vs. Liberty Patriots

Las Vegas and Liberty are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Las Vegas Wildcats will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Liberty Patriots at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Las Vegas faced off against Desert Pines on Tuesday. Las Vegas fell 72-59 to Desert Pines. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Liberty faced Desert Pines in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Liberty strolled past Desert Pines with points to spare, taking the game 64-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Liberty pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for Las Vegas, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15.
